GIGABYTE A520M K V2 1.1 REQUEST TO UNLOCK HIDDEN MENUS
-
-
Device type:
Desktop -
Manufacturer and model:
GIGABYTE A520M K V2 (rev 1.1) -
BIOS vendor:
AMI -
Current BIOS version:
mb_bios_a520m-k-v2_8arnr115_fdg -
CPU model:
Amd Ryzen 5 Pro 1600 Six Core Processors -
What exactly do you want to unlock or modify?
I'm going to flash the BIOS using a FreeDOS flashrom. Some menus are missing in the BIOS, and I want to enable them:
Host Clock Value
Processor Frequency
Processor Clock Rate
Processor Frequency
Core Performance Boost Rate
Turbo Performance Boost Rate, etc.
I want all menus to be hidden.
I want to overclock my processor. -
BIOS dump:
I have a CH341A, but I'll perform the BIOS update in a FreeDOS flashrom environment. -
Additional notes:
It was giving a Secure Flash error with Afudos and Afuwin, but when I flashed the BIOS using a flashrom.exe, CWSDPMI.exe from FreeDOS, there were no problems at all. I've done this many times.
