Medion Erazer Deputy P50

Introduction

Few laptop manufacturers have leveraged Nvidia’s RTX 40-series GPUs as effectively as Medion to strengthen its presence in the UK market.

The Erazer Major X20 and Erazer Beast X40 are strong contenders in their respective price ranges, offering premium features as standard, such as a mechanical keyboard.

Medion’s latest addition to the mid-range gaming segment, the Erazer Deputy P50, follows suit by delivering impressive value for its £1399 price tag (not available in the US). The key components rival those found in gaming laptops priced between £1500 and £2000, boasting a Core i7 13700HX processor and an RTX 4060 GPU. What sets the Erazer Deputy P50 apart, however, is its 240Hz display and 1TB SSD—features that are typically found in more expensive laptops, where 165Hz displays and 512GB SSDs are more common.

Medion’s reputation as a budget brand, primarily known for inexpensive hardware sold in supermarkets, is a thing of the past. With the 2023 Erazer Deputy P50, the brand has solidified its shift to offering higher-quality products. Here’s my review of the Medion Erazer Deputy P50.
